Join us for our Children’s Music Retreat on Saturday, August 18, from 9:00am-12:30pm at St. Peter’s. This is a great chance to give choir a try with almost no commitment.
Children will have opportunities to worship God, sing songs, play together, share snacks, create art, and show off what they learned. We’ll spend time working on music and ideas related to our church musical “Noah’s RemARKable Voyage” which we’ll present in March 2019. This would be a great way to get a head start.
Youth (rising 6-12th graders) are also encouraged to attend to get a head start on the musical as well as participate in some of the events of the day. In addition to making music, youth will help shepherd the children, supervise and participate in art projects, and spend time getting to know each other.
We’ll cap off the day with a short program at 12:00 followed by lunch together. The children and youth will also help to lead worship the following Sunday, August 19th at the 9:45 service.
Registration forms are available below, on the Musical Arts bulletin board, in the office, or by contacting Adam Hughes at ahughes@stpeterslutheran-lanc.org.
