ELCA Mission Support
We support the broadest expression of our national church body through direct contributions to major appeals like the current “Always Being Made New” campaign, and through regular budget contributions and special appeals through our regional body, the Lower Susquehanna Synod.
ELCA World Hunger Appeal
We support the ELCA World Hunger Appeal, through our donations at different times during the year.
Tanzania Mission Committee
St. Peter’s has begun a Companion Congregation relationship with the Konde Diocese in Tukuyu, Tanzania, Africa. Our partner church there is called the Busoka Congregation, which was established in 1982 and has 92 members. Part of our relationship with Busoka includes supporting orphans local to Busoka.
Lutheran Disaster Response
We support Lutheran Disaster Response with contributions when appeals are communicated to us through the ELCA.
