At a formative stage of life, it’s important to have real conversations about how God works in our lives, and establish friendship and trust while engaging in scripture and Lutheran doctrine.
Club 56, for fifth and sixth graders, has a two year curriculum studying scripture, church history and religious traditions. Using videos, music, crafts, games and discussion, students will gain a deeper understanding of their faith and build Christian relationships with each other.
Sundays at 9:15am in Room 127
Route 78, for seventh and eighth graders, focuses on pre-confirmation subjects: the Ten Commandments, the Church, the life of Jesus, the Sacraments, and church history. Youth in Route 78 are expected to attend Sunday School and worship, and participate in the life of the church through assisting in worship, music ministry, outreach activities, fellowship events and youth events, as requirements for confirmation.
Sundays at 9:15am in Room 102
Our ninth graders prepare for the Rite of Confirmation each May in this class led by Pastor Craig Ross and Joe Geesey. Students study Luther’s Small Catechism, the Bible, and the teachings of the Lutheran faith. After completing the class requirements, our confirmands publicly affirm their faith at our Confirmation service.
Sundays at 9:15am in Room 111
Our Senior High class includes youth in grades 10-12. This class is co-led by Doug May and Sister Dottie Almoney. This class discusses a range of topics from current events to Scripture and serves as a safe place to share faith and friendship.
Sundays at 9:15am in the Youth Lounge
