Children’s Sunday School

The Children’s Ministries program at St. Peter’s provides educational, worship, and fellowship opportunities for children age 2 through 4th grade.

St. Peter’s uses the Spark Curriculum, a Lutheran faith formation program that gets children excited about God’s Word.

2 & 3 Year Old Class

The first opportunity for our youngest members to experience Sunday school! A volunteer picks up our two and three year olds from the nursery and then takes them to a nearby classroom. There they explore Bible stories through crafts, games and song! At the end of the class, the volunteer returns them to the nursery where they enjoy a snack before their parents arrive to pick them up!

Sundays at 9:15am, drop-off at the Nursery

4 Year Old & Kindergartener Class

Our 4 year olds and kindergarteners experience an in-room rotation with Storytelling, Art, Snack, Music and Game stations.

Sundays at 9:15am in the Bunny Room (Age 4) and the Frog Room (Kindergarten)

Grades 1-4: Rotation Sunday School

Children in grades 1 through 4 participate in Rotation Sunday School. Each five-week rotation is focused on a Bible story or group of Bible stories about particular characters. Each week we gather in the Family Life Center for opening scripture or activity before breaking into stations. Rotating through five stations per session allows students to explore each story from several perspectives. Stations include Art, Games, Computer Lab, Cooking, Drama, Music, Science, Bible Story and Movie.

Sundays at 9:15am, meet in the Family Life Center
