Membership

Join our family!

For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ.  Romans 12:4-5

Membership is community. As you are a member of a family, you can become a member of a faith family, as well. Membership means that you have a place in and among brothers and sisters in Christ, working for the Lord. You have a place here at St. Peter’s, living out what it means to be the body of Christ in the world today!

How do I become a member?

We are so very glad that you have found St. Peter’s. As you visit and worship we pray you feel the welcome and warmth shared by fellow Christians gathering in our Lord’s name. As you find St. Peter’s to be a fit and a home in your faith life, we ask that you consider becoming a member. There are many members, but one body. You have a place here at St. Peter’s!

New member classes

We are excited to announce that St. Peter’s new members class will be held on Sunday, June 1. The time is 10:30 (right after the 9:30 service).  Folks will be received into membership on Sunday, June 8, which is Pentecost Sunday.

Shepherding Program

Everyone was new at one time. Let us help connect you to somebody who has been part of our community for a while. Following their reception into the church, new member households will be connected to a shepherd who shares some similarities (you go to the same worship service, your kids are in Sunday School together, you have similar passions for ministry, etc). The St. Peter’s New Member Shepherding Program is designed to be an enjoyable way to strengthen the fellowship of our faith family.
