Lifelong Learning for a Living Faith

The Lutheran tradition is firmly rooted in lifelong education, and we believe a healthy study of the Bible is an essential companion to a faith grounded in worship and prayer.

Adult Sunday School

Come join us as we explore our faith together. All are welcome to attend, whether you’re new to the faith or just wanting to go more in depth with a certain topic. St. Peter’s offers Sunday morning adult classes from 9:15-10:15 a.m. from September through May. Gather with other adult believers to delve more deeply into the meaning of Scripture, learn about core theological teachings of the Lutheran Church, and wrestle with places where faith and current events intersect.

FAITH FORUM ADULT LEARNING: All adults are invited to join this class every Sunday morning starting 9/20 at 9:15 a.m. in Room 100. In Faith Forum, we will use open discussion to understand how God is calling us to live out our faith in our community. We will draw upon scripture from the lectionary and the Wired Word curriculum, which connects current events to the life of faith. No preparation is needed.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study

Do you want to learn to read the Bible more confidently?  Join the Wednesday Morning Bible Study with Pastor where we explore the Scriptures together.  Each session encourages conversation about different books of the Bible, using a balanced mixture of lecture and class discussion.  No experience with Bible Study is necessary, but an open mind and a love for God is essential. Most studies will use a resource book to guide the conversation, with added material being supplied by Pastor.  If needed, the class will be offered in a Hybrid, digital format.  A Zoom link will be available for those who cannot come into St. Peter's to join the weekly conversation. Stop by and enjoy some discussion and a snack. Feel free to join in at any time. Wednesdays September-May from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Café.

Pub Theology

Pub Theology is a casual group that meets monthly outside of church to discuss many topics including current events, theology, the Bible, and more. This is a judgment-free zone where all opinions and ideas are welcome!
