Musical Arts Concert Series

St. Peter's Musical Arts Concert Series (MACS) provides a steady flow of uplifting, high quality music within a Christian framework to Lancaster county. Annual large-scale choral performances, such as Handel's Messiah, provide an opportunity for community members to join in memorable performances. Additional concerts provide a wide variety of music throughout the year - there is something for everyone. Each year, the MACS donates ten percent of proceeds to a local outreach.

2026-2027 Season Schedule

  • British Brass Band

    Lancaster British Brass Band

    Saturday, August 8, 2026 – 7:00 p.m.

The unique sound of Lancaster Brass Band is due to its being composed entirely of brass winds and percussion instruments. For concert programs the Lancaster British Brass Band borrows from virtually every musical genre. A typical program consists of transcriptions of the classics, marches, hymns, popular music arrangements, solos and, last but not least, original compositions written for the medium.

Offerings received at our concerts do not cover all of our expenses. We rely on generous donations from our patrons, who are recognized in our concert programs. All donations, along with freewill offerings received at concerts, help support the MACS. A minimum of ten percent of our proceeds are donated each year to a local outreach. In addition to donating, volunteers are also needed to help. Please see the form below and consider helping in these important ways.
