Our first public worship gathering in the sanctuary begins June 6th. At their May meeting, Congregation Council approved the recommendation that was proposed by the Worship Committee in consultation with Risk Management and Church Staff, to return to in-person worship at our 8:00 a.m. hour starting on June 6th. The service will still observe “safe practice” protocol by: requiring masks, asking families to social distance by households, and signing in for worship for contact tracing purposes. The service will run about thirty minutes, with liturgy, lessons, sermon, prayers, organ music and communion using our fellowship cups. At this time, singing inside the building is still considered a high-risk practice, so music will be offered through the organ and instrumental means. We are exploring options for some kind of brief singing that is safe. Please reserve a spot for worship by visiting www.stpeterslutheran.org/worship/indoor-worship or call the church office between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
