Staff

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church is blessed with an office and program staff who faithfully serve alongside the rostered leaders of the church. They, along with our many volunteers, help transform the vision of our ministry into reality!

Pastor Will Stenke

Pastor

Pastor Will is a native of Utica, MI, a suburb northern of Detroit.  He attended Eastern Michigan University, where he met his wife (Danielle) while serving at the Lutheran Campus Ministry.  After receiving his B.A. in Communications, he attended Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH, completing his M.Div. in 1996.  He has served congregations of all sizes in multiple Synods and states.

When not at church, Pastor Will enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Danielle, and his adult children - Emily (and Dakotah her husband), Sarah, and Nathaniel - who are all out of the home and living on their own.  Pastor Will and Danielle enjoy gardening, hiking, looking for interesting birds, listening to acapella music and show tunes.  They are excited to explore central PA, after spending most of their lives in the very flat Midwest.

Deborah & Tom Berdos

Organist | Director of Music

Fulfilling our calling as leaders of sacred music at St. Peter’s is a joy to us. We are grateful for the enthusiastic musicians here, and join with them in bringing choral, handbell, organ, piano, and other instrumental music to our traditional services for the glory of God. There is always room for others to participate – please consider joining us!

Office Staff

Jason Zimmerman

Parish Administrator

Jason Zimmerman, Parish Administrator at St. Peter's, blends graphic design expertise with a passion for community service. A Temple University alum, Jason transitioned from banking to church work to nurture his soul. When not serving the congregation, he can be found making people laugh with the Lancaster Improv Players.

“I’m grateful to be part of a community where I can combine my professional skills with meaningful work that nurtures both the church and my spirit.”

JoAnn Harriger

Parish Secretary

I love our dedicated staff and friendly church members.

Kristie Windle

Communication Coordinator

I am here to provide administrative support, communication and foster a warm welcome to all members. I enjoy creating Sunday morning worship bulletins and materials for online sites. It is a blessing to be able to greet members on a daily basis, and I find it to be a joy to be a part of St. Peter's incredible staff team. My favorite Bible verses are: Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me,” and Matthew 17:20: “Our faith can move mountains.”
