St. Peter’s Preschool Prayground

Prayground is the new lunch program that we offer on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at St. Peter’s Preschool. This year we are intentionally using St. Peter’s Strategic Plan and will have “cross over ministries” with Preschool as it pertains to education, fellowship and service

Prayground runs from noon until 1:30 and it is only open to 12 children per day. Prayground is a short extension of our preschool day. It consists of a weekly Bible story in our new Children’s Library, crafts, gym or playground time, free play, lunch and other special activities.

This is a great opportunity for our preschool program to work together with our Christian Education ministry and incorporates the biblical story and Christian values to our preschool children. What started out as an opportunity for us to minister to 12 children, Prayground has already increased to 18 children. We currently have Sister Dottie, Heather Cramer and Boni Sauder as our “Prayground staff”. We have been learning about Creation, Noah’s Ark, Abraham and Sarah and all of the amazing things our God has created, including us! We hope you visit our “Prayground” Room to see what we have been doing!

Our youth grow into faithful disciples through education, fellowship and service. I am also excited about the new social ministries in which we are partnering with other Manheim Township churches, such as Lydia’s Closet and Homes for Hope.
