Play For The Kids™ Benefiting Four Diamonds

Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital has launched Play For The Kids™, the organization’s new, signature fundraising program that unites Four Diamonds supporters nationwide to conquer childhood cancer!  Play For The Kids™ is all about being young at heart and having fun, in honor of kids fighting cancer who often miss out on many childhood activities.  Remember how much fun it was to be a kid? Riding bikes, eating popsicles, being with friends, swimming – all things that kids undergoing cancer treatment might miss out on. This March 26th, you can play to honor them. Because everybody deserves to be a kid, don’t they?

On March 26th, St. Peter’s children are invited to attend one of the very first “Play For The Kids™” events!  We will be hosting a Fun & Games event here at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  There will be games, food and crafts for children 3 to 10 years of age. We hope everyone will rally their family and friends to help support our children as they play in honor of those that can’t.

Support can come in sponsors, volunteers to run games, food donations, etc.

Starting now, you can register as part of our team and begin fundraising.  Go to the following link to join our St. Peter’s Kids Care team or send a donation.

With your help, dollars raised by Play For The Kids™ supports the latest breakthroughs in childhood cancer research and ensures that every Four Diamonds child, regardless of income, receives the highest quality of childhood cancer care without ever seeing a bill for that care.

We will also be collecting donations for “Ryder’s Smile Packages”!  Ryder is a St. Peter’s Preschool alumnus, who also happens to be a childhood cancer survivor.  We want to help Ryder with the thoughtful care packages that he delivers to other children about to start their cancer treatments.  For more info:

I feel so blessed and excited to continue the amazing Preschool Program here at St. Peter’s. I am looking forward to working with the Christian education staff to introduce some biblical concepts to our Program. All 3 of my children have gone through St. Peter’s preschool and we have great memories from their early days here. This is the perfect age to teach our children to “love one another” John 13:34.
