Preschool Update

Although St. Peter’s Preschool is not having in person fall classes, due to the desire to keep our children safe, our Preschool staff is still actively at work.  On Tuesdays and Thursday’s preschoolers and their families can join St. Peter’s teachers for engaging songs, stories, and creative activities. There is no charge for joining these 30 to 40 minutes sessions, which are appropriate for children of preschool age.  Check out the Preschool page for more information

Mission Campaign Update

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 25th at 9:00 a.m. when we will host a Congregational Meeting for the purpose of authorizing the  start of a Mission Campaign to address building, mission and program needs at St. Peter’s.  The meeting will be held virtually using a platform that allows us to tally votes in a manner endorsed by Pennsylvania law, and also in line with the constitutional expectations of our Lower Susquehanna Synod.  Watch for more details and information, but for now, mark the date.

Adult Education is shifting into high gear as fall unfolds.

Here are educational offerings you can enjoy … Moral Monday Book Studies on Monday evenings, Looking to Sunday Bible Study mid-day on Tuesdays, Wednesday Morning Bible Study and Pub Theology or Bible Study For Young Moms in the PM on Wednesdays, Music Thursdays and on Thursday after dinner, Devotions at Home, and Adult Education Class on Sundays. Find out more and who to contact to be part of them by visiting our Learn page. Consider trying out one or more of them.

Sunday Worship

Join us for live-streaming worship on Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. by following this link – https://www.stpeterslutheran.org/live, and enjoy a variety of views of the church sanctuary, with shared leadership from our worship staff, and video contributions from church members.

Or you can join us in person for Drive-In Worship at 6:30 p.m.  A simple celebration of Holy Communion is offered along with a sermon, brief liturgy and two hymns.  You do not need reservations, but if you would call the Church Office to let us know you are coming, we can be prepared with bulletins and communion elements.
