Weaving the four scripture passages together we find several themes about discipleship and faith. The Prophet Habakkuk tells us that God acts in God’s time, and we are not to despair if justice seems to be non-existent. Have Faith. The Apostle Paul tells us that we act in faith through the teachings of Jesus and Jesus tells us that we have enough faith to carry out the teachings of the Gospel. We are woven together in a community of faith tasked with the duty to live out our Baptismal call to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, to serve all people and to strive for justice and peace in all the earth.

Our youth grow into faithful disciples through education, fellowship and service. I am also excited about the new social ministries in which we are partnering with other Manheim Township churches, such as Lydia’s Closet and Homes for Hope.
