Throughout the Bible, God promised The Advent or coming of his son, Jesus. This is one of the most important events in all of human history — the almighty, eternal, creator of the universe becoming human, living among us, and suffering on our behalf in order to give us life.
This year we will mark each week of Advent with a midweek service featuring the themes of hope, peace, and joy as they connect to the Advent of our Lord.
To assist with these themes we will be using videos from the Bible Project.
The Bible Project is a non-profit animation studio that produces short-form, fully animated videos to make the biblical story accessible in a visual way.
Short videos will be offered during each of the midweek Advent services.
We believe that these beautifully created videos, along with closed caption text, will help tell the story of the Lord’s Advent.
Midweek services gather on Wednesday at 7am and 7pm in the chapel. Worship includes Advent liturgy, Scripture, a message, and beautiful hymnody for the season.
See you there!
