Schedule for March 18
This week we have had a partial failure of the heating system in the south end of our building — this area includes the sanctuary, office, chapel, choir room, and conference room. Spare parts were not immediately available to make the repairs by Sunday, so please be advised on this modified schedule for tomorrow, March 18, 2018:
8:00am Traditional Worship Service will be held in our Family Life Center at the normal time of 8:00am.
9:15am Sunday School will be held as normal. All classrooms have heat except for Crosspoints in the conference room, which we will heat up with a space heater.
10:45am New Day and Traditional Services will both gather in the Family Life Center and worship in the New Day Setting. We will set up as many chairs as we can safely fit in the FLC and Café. New Day coffee bar will be moved to the Youth Lounge.
This is a rather unusual situation for us, so we ask your patience with these last minute needed changes, and invite you to see this as a modest adventure of faith and worship on Sunday morning. Think of it as a worship pilgrimage for this one Sunday. Typically when we have unusual situations like this (they are usually weather related, like this one), our congregation responds with enthusiasm and understanding. We hope you can embody that spirit of adventure in this case, also. Thank you ahead of time for your courageous and flexible spirit.
