ELCA Faith Lens

Are you looking for a new devotional blog? Have you ever tried out the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s (ELCA) FAITH LENS BLOG?  About once a week, guest authors prepare a brief Bible Study that is geared for young adults, but speaks to just about everyone.  This past week I found the title “From Lost to Seeing the Way” intriguing, so I checked out the devotion.

The Bible verses for the study were from our past Sunday worship readings, and I was pleased to see the opening story about one of the “Lost Boys” of Sudan.  Some of you may remember James Kongor and some of his Sudanese friends who worshiped with us, occasionally a few years ago.  I was hooked immediately as the blog invited me to think about the variety of ways I can get “lost” in life, along with the truth about how God seeks to find us.

If you are looking for something new in your devotional life, or would like to stay a little more connected to life in the ELCA, check out the Faith Lens Homepage.  I did, and I was glad I did.  Or maybe pass the link on to a young adult you know and love.
