As the New Year quickly approaches, we want to thank you for your faithful giving in 2016! Through your contributions, St. Peter’s has been able to reach out to our community and world with a plethora of programs and ministries.
Over the first 11 months in 2016, you increased congregational giving 10% over the same period in 2015. This has enabled us to live out our vision statement, “… to worship God, learn and teach God’s Word, and serve humanity, near and far.”
As you bask in the post-Christmas glow, your mind might be turning towards the things you have to accomplish in the new year — like filing your 2016 taxes. At this point you might be wishing you had a few more deductions to claim, but fear not!
It’s not too late to give in 2016!
If you’re looking for a deduction on your 2016 tax return, it’s not too late to give to St. Peter’s! In order to take the deduction for 2016, your gift must be postmarked or received by the church on or before Saturday December 31.
If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
Thanks for all you do, and have a happy New Year!
