The Tanzania Mission Committee invites you to its 10th Annual Cookie Walk, December 10 from 9:00am-12:00pm. Fill a container with delicious homemade holiday cookies, lovingly baked by St. Peter’s members.
New this year, we will offer two container sizes: $15 for large or $8 for small. Proceeds will benefit the orphans in Busoka, Tanzania.
Get in the spirit!
Christmas spirit abounds and the aromas are heavenly! Director of Music Adam Hughes will provide Christmas music on the piano, with Maurielle Courtois playing violin, and Mark Aho playing African drums. It is a festive, wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season, knowing you are also helping the orphans who are part of Busoka Lutheran Church, our companion congregation. You will have delicious homemade Christmas cookies to take home and enjoy, knowing that you also made a difference in the lives of children.
Bakers Wanted
Thank you to those who have already signed up to bake Christmas cookies for the Cookie Walk. If you haven’t signed up, there is still time. Sign up in the narthex or with Mary Jane Wilcox. We ask you to double the recipe of your best Christmas cookie and bring them to the church narthex on Friday, December 9 between 12:00 and 7:00pm. Please transport the cookies in a tin or flat box. Do not transport them in plastic bags as the cookies crumble and then cannot be displayed.
