Today’s Gospel Lesson raises for us the proper use of wealth and resources in a person’s life.
And he said to them, ‘Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.’ (Luke 12:15)
The church (and this story) has never criticized wealth in and of itself, but reminds us of the call to use wealth wisely and in service to God’s world. The Christian always believes that any wealth or resources entrusted to us in life, are always God’s resources to be managed well.
In our desire to manage well the resources entrusted to us, the following questions come to mind ….
